“It takes more than one to make a ballet company,” ballerina and choreographer Ninette de Valois once stated. The famous de Valois was right, but, undoubtedly, it also takes a little bit of style to make one’s performance truly unforgettable. Italian company Freddy has produced for over 30 years dance and fitness wear, successfully becoming the official apparel supplier to the Royal Ballet, the Teatro alla Scala Ballet Company and the Italian Olympic team.

Freddy recently launched a new and ambitious project, an exclusive collaboration with Topshop. The Freddy for Topshop fashion collection includes 7 pieces in chenille and jersey in an autumnal colour palette that comprises slate grey, fuchsia and mauves nuances. The separates – ranging between £35 and £45 – are ideal for dance or fitness practice or to create casual wear ensembles by mixing and matching them with every day items. The main aim of the collaboration dedicated to movement and style is offering designs that can help improving one’s performance while still looking fashionable and trendy.

The collaboration will continue in January 2010 with a new range of products.
