Reworking 3 iconic timepiece styles, Gucci is reinvigorating the brands accessories repertoire under the guidance of Frida Giannini, whose vision seamlessly blends the Gucci heritage with chic modernity. Featuring the famous Gucci ‘G’, a style first introduced in the 60s, the fashion house is offering the signature style in modern stainless steel and edgy black for a contemporary look.

The Marina Chain, a signature Gucci piece, also re-appears featuring the iconic Gucci anchor chain sign and characteristic smooth, rounded chain links. Inspired by the 19060 yachting lifestyle of the Florentine clientele of Guccio Gucci, the Mariana Chain watch was introduced into the Gucci collection for S/S 09, and comes in steel or yellow gold with an extra option to have the watch coated in black enamel, adding sleek sophistication.

Finally, the G Chrono Black, first launched in 2005 has been reinterpreted to encapsulate the essence of excess.  With a 44mm case and extra large dial, the watch acts as a showpiece that pushes glamour and ostentation together in the new black model. The G Chrono Black also features references to the signature green-red-green stripped webbing in the buttons and watch hands, and is only available as a limited special edition.
