Marc by Marc Jacobs’ A/W 09-10 accessories collection, aptly entitled ‘Flight of Fancy’ is a range influenced by cute, fancifully coloured, woodland creatures. Like their flying, scurrying, burrowing counterparts, the accessories are small in size but big in impact, featuring the likes of a wise old owl, a meowing cat, a peaceful dove and a squeaking mouse. Embracing the Marc by Marc Jacobs joyous philosophy of fun and boundless whimsy, the collection is cast in a rainbow of autumnal colours from leathers previously used in other Marc by Marc Jacobs ranges.

The accessories themselves come in the form of a shoulder bag (the curious cat), key pouches, wristlets and a leather bound mirror (the mischievous mouse). All the items are patch-worked from different materials, and offer sophistication with a light hearted edge. Along with the leather accessories, the range will also feature items including earring, pendants, brooches, key rings and hair pieces.
