Watch Grimes and Amandla Stenberg’s new Stella McCartney ad

The minute-long clip also features Kenya Kinski-Jones and Lourdes Leon

Back in March, Stella McCartney revealed that avant-pop icon Grimes would be the face of her new sustainable perfume, ‘POP’. “Grimes is a wonderful musician, director and writer,” the designer shared on Instagram shortly after the news broke. “She refuses to compromise on anything ethically or artistically, which sets her apart from many of her contemporaries.”

The “Kill Vs. Maim” singer – who, like McCartney, is a staunch vegan – has since appeared in a number of Glen Luchford-shot ads for the product. This included a 30-second behind-the-scenes teaser, in which she explained her decision to be linked to the environmentally conscious brand. “Sustainability in fashion is something that I really care about,” Grimes said in a voiceover. “It’s not something that exists for the sake of aesthetics, but something that exists because someone cares about it.”

Now, after four months, the first full video ad for the campaign has finally arrived. The minute-long clip – which dropped yesterday evening – features appearances from Amandla Stenberg, Lourdes Leon and Kenya Kinski-Jones, and follows a dreamy pink road trip around a desert location.
