Kristen Stewart in new short film for Chanel

The actor stars in a new short titled ‘Paris in Rome’

Since making her Chanel debut in the house’s Paris-Dallas Métiers d’Art campaign in 2014, Kristen Stewart has gone on to star in many other campaigns for the brand. Yesterday, her latest venture for the house was revealed: a short film entitled Paris in Rome, shot by Chanel’s inimitable creative director, Karl Lagerfeld

In it, she models the house’s Métiers d’Art pre-AW16 collection, which was debuted at a runway show in Rome in December of last year. The collection is predominantly black and white, reflecting Coco Chanel’s love of the colours. “I have said that black has it all. White too,” she once said. “Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”

Like that show, Paris in Rome was shot at the Rome’s iconic film studio Cinecettà, where great Italian films like Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita were made.

This isn’t Stewart’s first film for the house though – last year she played Coco Chanel and an actor playing Coco Chanel in a short film entitled Once and Forever.
