Exclusive: the brand unveils a new editorial shot by Arnaud Lajeunie
Kenzo has unveiled a new editorial shot by French photographer Arnaud Lajeunie, who was behind Faustine Steinmetz’ SS16 campaign. For this story, Lajeunie and stylist Victoire Simonney selected French graphic designer Kearvina Sohun, who was discovered by Dazed 100 photographer Harley Weir before signing with Ford Models. As for the location, Lajeunie chose to shoot the editorial in South Brittany because of the place’s “soft wilderness”. “There was no specific concept behind the shoot, except a desire to go, explore the place for a couple of days, and to engage with the area,” he explains. The images see Sohun model the brand’s SS16 collection – most strikingly, the white perforated leather looks. The unveiling of this editorial comes shortly after a similar story, which was shot by another Dazed 100 photographer, Eloise Parry. For this, she shot the brand’s SS16 collection on street-cast models from Miami.
