Fancy a night at the museum? For the first time ever, you can visit the V&A after hours as the exhibition draws to a close
Savage Beauty has gripped London in McQueen mania. Since opening in March, it has seen 345,000 people come through its doors, making it the most visited paid-for exhibition at the V&A in a decade. Guests have included everyone from supermodel heavyweights Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell to drag icon RuPaul and Dazed cover star Lorde.
Now that it's drawing to a close, the museum has made an unprecedented move: they're keeping the show open throughout the night to accommodate the high demand. For two weekends only you will be able to get up close and personal McQueen's graduate collection and get a chance to see that infamous Kate Moss hologram after dark. If you want to have a night at the museum, then now is your opportunity – these extended opening hours are from Friday 24 July to 22.00 on Sunday 26 July and from Friday 31 July until the exhibition finally closes on Sunday 2 August at 23.00.
Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, in partnership with Swarovski, supported by American Express, with thanks to M∙A∙C Cosmetics, technology partner Samsung and made possible with the co-operation of Alexander McQueen, runs until 2 August 2015. Tickets still available. www.vam.ac.uk/savagebeauty
