The fashion house's AW14 campaign captures the two film stars in a lo-fi home video aesthetic
Rag and Bone has cast iconic Hollywood A-listers Winona Ryder and Michael Pitt to represent its men and women's AW14 campaigns. Ryder and Pitt star in two different, short films that were shot in the amusement district of Coney Island. Both films have a distinctly nostalgic feel, evocative of the era of home video and 70s Americana.
The fashion house's managing partner Marcus Wainwright said, "Both actors are unconventional in their own right and indefinably compelling, which really appeals to us. To us, Winona Ryder is a bona fide icon. One of the things that makes her so cool is that although she has this incredible career, she isn’t interested in being a movie star. She has this beautiful timeless quality. Michael looks amazing in the clothes and is a very talented guy with a lot of artistic integrity."
Art direction was provided by leading director Peter Miles. Check out Ryder and Pitt freewheeling around an amusement park below.
