The weather in NYC has been particularly British today. The day didn't start well when I missed the Michael Kors show. I spent far too long ogling over the new Helmut Lang collection. However, I caught it on the monitor. Colour was key, most of the NY designers this week have been intent on cheering us all up and it seems to be working.
I was there in plenty of time for Richard Chai. Head-to-toe printed outfits were a highlight. There were also some great sequined pieces that were mottled in a way that in the runway lights they almost looked like liquid.
Then it was straight on to an appointment at IMG. Found out about another Calvin Klein exclusive but I've been sworn to secrecy, sorry!!
After a string of appointments I visited the Yves Saint Laurent popup store The raw understated environment of the gallery space was a great platform for the new Unisex line and selection of key accessories.
