Teaming together, they have created a stainless steel framed eyewear collection inspired by iconic optical shapes from the last century. Since first launching in 2009, Margiela’s eyewear range has grown and developed organically and for a fashion house that sits on the cross-section between fashion and design, this dynamic collaboration marks the next chapter. With monochrome frames and matching lenses, each piece of eyewear is streamlined, sleek and pure reflecting the synergies of both design houses.
To launch the collection Margiela and MYKITA have worked with directors Julien Soulier and Adrien Landre to create a video campaign, launched today exclusively on Dazed.
