Alber Elbaz took luxe Parisian style to the next level with a hybrid of opulent silks, luxurious leathers, lavish furs and heavy flapper fringing. Sharp tailoring was injected with contrasting fabric constructions.
Concertina fold leather pleated dresses, monochrome brocade prints, voluminous ruffles and raw tweed edges. Each look was complete with the most lavish of finishings.
Stand out look:
A luxuriant fringed cocktail dress, belted tightly at the waist with gold and silver chains, dressed down with a pair of boyish unlaced leather brogues.
Head turning hats:
Elaborate marabou feather-fringed headwear, cast a morose shadow over the models faces as they advanced down the catwalk.
How they wore it:
With a fiercely dark intensity. The Lanvin woman is ultra-feminine, lavish, extravagant and extreme.
