Initial reaction:

An eruption of pleated cylindrical structures, which created statement unconventional silhouettes.

Prints please Miyake:

Forget pleats, it was all about the prints. An abstract linear patchwork in three colour-ways progressed throughout the collection.

Stand out look:

A cylindrical double layer, accordion-pleat dress, block coloured in scarlet, black and bronze.

Accessories:

Six rigid half-moon shaped handbags, from which the models each pulled a pleated dress to wear down the catwalk.

Soundtrack:

Models walked to the live sounds of Chiyako and Ei Wada’s self-invented spring guitar.
