Devastee AW14

A monochrome playground of sweet sixties silhouettes, graphic prints and skater-girl cool

Fashion Show
DEVASTEE FW14 26
Devastee AW14

Initial reaction:

Sixties pixie girl meets Victorian street urchin: princess collars, mini skirt pea coats and cropped slacks worn with tights.

Colour impressions:

Mono. Chrome. Graphic black and white contrast collars and buttons, and all black looks textured with a subtle matte/gloss print.

Prints please:

Shades of grey were integrated in baroque florals, and house motifs of church – ‘un monument pour moi’ – symbols and perfume bottles.

How they wore it:

With slip on sneakers, white tights, and a slick of grey shadow across the eyes – like a pre-teen wannabe skater girl dabbling in make-up.

Set:

A scattering of black and white giant ‘jacks’, the children’s game. Like the collection, it imbued both graphic cool and a playful innocence.
