Tillmann Lauterbach’s presentation at Paris Menswear Fashion Week was a cleansing exercise for the male sartorial repertoire. Dark tones in relaxed shapes were cut through with splashes of almost metallic light grey tailoring and hints of leather in belts and jackets. The collection seemed almost to jump from the country farm to the city streets as peasant inspired silhouettes were given an urban twist. The German born designer’s AW 09 show offered up an easy yet infinitely appealing organic range for the low fuss fashion conscious male.
