Petar Petrov’s AW 09 collection at Paris Menswear Fashion Week was a delicate mix of pastels, highlighter brights and wet look fabrics. Strikingly youthful, the collection was made up of traditional sportswear pieces with a definite club kid edge. Neon abounded as dance bound smiley faces leered from the front of oversized sweatshirts, and models’ torsos seemed to disappear beneath loose fitting jumpers and ample shouldered coats. Petrov’s collection gave the distinct impression of sleepless nights and the unlimited energy of youth.
