Clarks Are Checking In

Iconic British footwear brand Clarks are coming up trumps with their timely revival of the Prince of Wales check.

Revered, coveted and imitated by fashion heavyweights including the likes of Tom Ford for Gucci, the Prince of Wales traditional check is making a comeback. Clarks are championing the resurgence of the pattern with the release of their SS ’09 collection, which features the distinctive design emboldening some of the labels most time-honoured classics. The British collides with British in this unification of such traditional sartorial icons.
The collection sees the Clarks Wallabees, the Desert boot and the Lugger revamped with a Prince of Wales check. The footwear will be available in both suede and leather with contrast stitching and the signature Clarks Originals crepe sole.
