London Womenswear AW13 – Elizabeth Fraser-Bell's highlights
Dazed's fashion editor picks her best-of from the capital
Throughout the Autumn/Winter womenswear fashion weeks, the Dazed fashion team will summarise their highlights of New York, London, Milan and Paris. Here, fashion editor Elizabeth Fraser-Bell shares her London highlights.
FAVOURITE LOOKS OF LONDON AW13:
This look from Lucas Nascimento (above). It's so beautiful and I want it in every colour for every day of the week.
Christopher Kane. The manipulation of the feathers into curls like little flames going up to the neck is mesmerising.
I also love this from Marques´Almeida. Guess I'm all about the navy this season...
FAVOURITE ACCESSORY:
Bog roll brooches at Louise Gray.
FAVOURITE SHOE:
The silver and gold numbers at Meadham Kirchhoff.
FAVOURITE MODELS:
Lexi at Union, Isaac at Elite, and Ana at Premier.
FAVOURITE VENUE:
Jonathan Saunders at The Royal Exchange.
BEST THING OVERHEARD AT THE SHOWS:
"It's less of a pink and more of a pushed blush burgundy."
FAVOURITE SOUNDTRACK:
Lucas Nascimento Jazz Age symphony composed by Santiago Latorre.
BEST CATERING/DRINKS:
It's all about self catering, with Veuve pit stops.
BEST GOODIE BAG/FREEBIE:
Nothing of note. Brands could do a lot better at that!
