The books in Tommy Hilfiger's university library set were just paint, but the clothes made for scintillating study material. Crisp houndstooth coats were a throwback to Savile Row tailoring, worn over matching itty bitty skirts that recalled Cher and Dionne's plaid school ensembles in Clueless. Of course, these versions were more Oxford than Beverly Hills High, and were styled with leather knee-high boots rather than girlish socks.

Is it just me or do phones come out of pockets faster when Cara Delevigne steps out onto the runway? New hashtag: #caradise. Outfitted in a plaid shearling coat and a glen plaid fedora, she looked up to mischief in this Ivy League library, and I suspect the girls in the cable knit and argyle leather sweaters are in on the prank.
