Marcelo Burlon launched his County of Milan t-shirt debut on Dazed Digital last year. And our Facebook comment box went into overdrive straight after. So it's no surprise he can't get them in stores quick enough.
The Patagonian-born PR, DJ, stylist, event organiser, editor and art director is a creative powerhouse – The Man in Milan, as we call him. Whilst Burlon limbers up for contributing to Dazed Digital over Milan fashion week, we take a look at his AW13 collection video and learn how it's all about his tribe, including Ladyfag, Willy Cartier and Daniel Inked.
"I asked a group of friends from Berlin, Paris, NYC and Hong Kong to be part of my lookbook and video because I made these clothes for them, these are the people that I like to wear my creations.
I'm currently working on a project with Pusha T, a limited edition t-shirt plus art directing the cover and booklet of his new album 'My Name is My Name', in collaboration with Marcus-Paul and my great graphic designer Giorgio di Salvo.
Marcelo Burlon County of Milan t-shirts are already in 250 stores all over the world. A week after the SS13 collection dropped, they'd sold out. There's a waiting list for their re-order!"
