There was a moment at the Just Cavalli show, in a tent behind Arco Della Pace (the 'Arch of Peace', which dates back to the 19th century), where a butterfly got in and was fluttering about the catwalk as models strutted to Sebastien Perrin's soundtrack, which you can listen to here.
At first it was hard to tell whether this was intentional or not because it was so apt. Sure, the collection was marine themed (though not overbearingly so, this is a young label of embellished jeans and leathers after all), but the point being the Just Cavalli client has that freedom and insouciance to flutter about their days as they wish, and is defined by their brightly coloured prints and markings, much like that lepidoptera that wanted a piece of the action. Not Just Cavalli it seems, but nature too.
