Fashion / ShowEXCLUSIVE: Craig Lawrence Womenswear SS13In an exclusive film, Lawrence considers the transformational power of reflective yarnShareLink copied ✔️September 18, 2012FashionShowPhotography Cameron Alexander Text Ana Finel Honigman EXCLUSIVE: Craig Lawrence Womenswear SS13 The organisms under the deep, dark sea were the stimulus for Craig Lawrence's SS13 collection, styled by AnOther's Nell Kallonji. The inspiration manifested as a line-up of extreme hair and antennae, as models had stiff sculptured tendrils emanating from their skulls whilst their dresses sprouted shaggy silver (fibre-optic) strands, reflecting camera flash when the lights turned off for the finale. One model wore a slinky silver shift, with streaming plastic tuffs extending a foot away from her body. Even the model wearing a silver knitted head-scarf, extending from a multi-tiered ball gown, still had snaky spit curls framing her cheekbones. The most exciting look had the fullest mane. It was a simple silver dress, with delicately knitted silver sleeves and a body constructed entirely from long, ice-white, locks. A billion fairies must be bald today, thanks to Craig Lawrence.Film Alexandros Pissourios Escape the algorithm!
