Trussardi offered light, breezy, beach dressing for Spring/Summer 13. Designer Umit Benan presented chic pyjama shirts and unstructured tailoring in a garden, models walking with Trussardi-leather embellished bicycles and even the house mascot, an elegant greyhound. Creative director Benan tells Dazed Digital about their unique venue, sharing pictures and an exclusive moodboard from the collection...
"One of the commitments of the Trussardi Group is the connection with Milano discovering the unexplored parts of the city and sharing them with all of the Milanese and the entire world. From this starting point Trussardi unveils the garden of a private old villa located in the heart of Milano, never used before by the fashion world, to show the collection designed and staged by Umit Benan Sahin. Every show tells a story and this makes it a real event. The location is the perfect place for presenting Trussardi's Summer vacation: the youngest son of Nicola Trussardi leaves the family vacation home to go to the beach with a group of his international friends… they are on the move. The Spring/Summer 13 menswear, my third season, is reflected by the journey of the Trussardi man."
