Karl Lagerfeld collaborates again with Hogan for his fourth season, Autumn/Winter 12, working his magic across accessories and ready-to-wear.
Crossing Italian and French brand DNA with Lagerfeld's couturier eye and sense of proportion, the results are urban (and very Karl) with a heavy dose of black and white patent, pyramid-shape studs and metallics in distressed gold or mercury. As well as denim and mini-pearls. Mixing the codes of day and evening, street and embellished is integral to the Kaiser's design philosophy, after all.
Ready-to-wear is proposed as two jacket styles – a chameleon style woolen garment with padded high-collared waistcoat and a short down jacket in satin-textured nylon, mother of pearl and metallic-finished wool. Or black vinyl-like tech fabric with a lacework of bouclé.
