As photography is a rich part of Club Monaco’s heritage, the contest asked people to submit an original photo of what inspires them in the worlds of art, travel, food, and music. “Our brand saying at Club Monaco is “Get Inspired By What Inspires Us." To stay connected with our community, it is natural for us to ask our audience what inspires them. This global contest allowed us to leverage our rich heritage of photography and engage our social networks in a cultural and rewarding way,” says Ann Watson, VP of Marketing/Communications at Club Monaco. Over 1200 creative photographs were submitted over the course of two weeks from around the globe, including North America, Europe, and Asia. From these entries, a team of industry insiders selected twenty finalists for each market. Club Monaco then opened voting to its social communities, allowing users to determine the winners. Grand-prize winners received a digital SLR camera, a $500 Club Monaco shopping spree, and a spot on the popular CM Culture Club blog, a visual collective of what inspires the people behind the brand. Secondary winners randomly selected from the voter pool scored Club Monaco gifts.
