Shot by Italian photographer Andrea Spotorno, Club Monaco's autumn/winter 2011 collection is fashioned by a whole cast of international musicians, actresses and models. The campaign features French film starlet Lou Lesage, British actress Anna Brewster and musicians Kele Okereke and Finn Vine – a bevy of talent whom embody Club Monaco’s witty and wistful style. To celebrate the launch of the collaboration, Club Monaco and Dazed gathered an impressive roster of friends to help toast the creative partnership with parties in New York, London and Paris.
The first event kicked off in Club Monaco's home city of New York with a party held at Austrian eatery Edi & the Wolf. The brand's very own creative director Caroline Belhumeur and French stylist Aleksandra Woroniecka hosted the dinner, and welcomed guests that included such names as Trish Goff, Rachel Chandler, Laure Heriard Dubreuil, Nate Lowman, Carlos Quirarte, Lulu Gainsbourg and Tom Guinness. Model Abbey Lee Kershaw also gave a surprise acoustic performance, appearing alongside her boyfriend Matthew Hutchinson's band, Our Mountain.
The celebratory whistle-stop tour followed the Fashion Week circuit by jetting off to London and hosting an intimate dinner at the Groucho Club. Rankin, Olivier Theyskens, Tuuli Shipster, Tallulah Harlech, Valentine Fillol-Cordier and Susie Bubble all gathered at the private club for a screening of the behind the scenes film of the lookbook before Emeli Sandé entertained guests with a trio of acoustic songs.
In Paris, actress Élodie Bouchez, one of the handful of stars featured in the campaign, co-hosted the soirée at Le Derrière which saw the likes of Poppy and Cara Delevingne, Jamie Bochert, Camille Bidault-Waddington and Leigh Lezark turn up to toast the partnership. Cécile Cassel, sister of actor Vincent, performed a three-song set before André Saraiva took to the decks.
