Mother of pearl was the theme of the show – and that sheen was explored abundantly: in a grey silk tops and trousers half a tone darker; on watercolour pastel wrap-tops and white pencil skirts, or in toga-like uni-shoulder tops with blue water-inspired motifs, all for a glossy, romantic show. For daytime attires, black silk trousers with a side or frontal split were on show, paired with a deep blue, lapel-free blazer, a large hat, and strappy sandals; for night-time chic, silk slip dresses or strapless ankle length pieces embroidered in white sequins were also an option. The mix of indulgent luster contrasted with the pared down cuts: brown straight necks with a flare at the hips toned down silver trousers; a black and silver striped jacket was casually paired with black three-quarter pants – both luscious and simple.
