This season the New York-based designer presented a collection rooted in American sportswear but with a strong utilitarian thread through it. The wearable pieces ranged from sporty outerwear with leather paneling and details to dressier blazer and shirt combinations. The contrast of materials and mix of formal and sporty detailing was further realised in the pared down neutral colour palette. Navy blues hues and black were matched against brilliant white, with the odd dash of burgundy and khaki green enhancing the strong silhouettes and sharp cut of the pieces.
