Not only did she show an impressive lineup of Africa-inspired outfits, she also launched her Casual collection. All khaki green and fit for everyday use, the looks were worked as a warm up to what was about to come. Her eponymous collection focused on black, beige and white colour combinations to start with. An African styled print featured on skirts and dresses in those shades, only to be skilfully teamed up with a cropped and flowing blouse in a strong purple colour. Moving over to soft zigzag prints in a more brown focused palette, we also saw a dark beige perforated leather cape. This just before an array of pieces in a gorgeous burnt orange shade turned up. Karan again presented a strong and focused main line. After her emotional tribute to her hometown of New York yesterday, this - if anything - was a statement of intent and (unknowing) tribute to her own sense of style. Escape the algorithm!
