Speaking to the designers post show thay told me how they wanted to get across their theme of a 'rebelious teenage girl' and they were influenced by imagery of teddy girls and the Edwardian era. These references were clear on the catwalk as we saw many large oversized shirt collars and clever twists on tailoring. It was a vivid collection with colours such as lime, hot fuschia paired with acid orange inspired by the artist Peter Durk. Digital prints appeared on silk in greens, reds and black resembling oozing petrol, albeit in opal fruit colours. Metallics were also heavily used either in the form of a whole suit or as surface decoration on shirts and dresses. The shoes, designed by Atalanta Weller, who also designs the show shoes for Henry Holland, caused great attention and provided the final touch to a great spring summercollection.
