Sheer fabrics were used in a variety of pieces allowing the garment underneath to be visible, while netting in various forms also played an integral role. Laser cut leather pieces, sheer net fabrics and looser grids of material, were used throughout the collection. Netting sweatshirts, vests, t-shirts, shorts, jumpsuits and even a trench coat found their way onto the runway. These more forward-thinking pieces were accompanied by a looser cut and shape across quite a relaxed and informal collection. Suiting came in a combination of sharply tailored jackets, including cut away detail double breasted and contemporary single button versions, and contrasting looser trousers with a carrot fit or a pleat front. Darker blues, army green, light grey and fresh whites all subtly lifted a generally more subdued colour palette, that in some way gave the collection a slightly 80s feel. This tone was again pushed by the oversized mirrored sunglasses and larger than life flat caps, a la Dexy's Midnight Runners. Other stand out pieces included sheer shorts, bib front shirts and a loose tailored net sports jacket. Escape the algorithm!
