The exhibition entitled 'Masters of style: Celebrating the stories behind Italian Fashion' is launching today and will mark 150 years of Italian style. Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo, Gucci, Missoni and Prada will all contribute exclusive key images from their collection and campaign archives, offering a chance to see the personal influences and reflections of the designers through their chosen iconic images. Each brand will show off their own individual flair and unique take on Italian style and fashion. The exhibition will also be curated by legendary fashion commentator Colin McDowell who states, “The expression ‘Made in Italy’ has become a global codeword for an embodiment of style, conveying Italy’s position at the forefront of international trends, inspiring and influencing the designers of tomorrow as it has done for over half a century.
