Taking inspiration from hunting and the military, his designs look back to a decidedly traditional masculine aesthetic with a focus on traditional tailoring and quality materials, re-mastered for the modern man. Gaining notoriety outfitting the likes of Benicio Del Toro, Orlando Bloom and The Rolling Stones, Spencer has developed the brand over its seven years to become an established name within British men’s fashion. In retaliation to the lack of quality clothing, and with it the wanting standards of retail experience for men, Spencer has took matters into his own hands by expanding his empire with the opening of his second store. Situated on Lamb’s Conduit Street in London’s Bloomsbury, this new store provides ‘a return to standards’ for the discerning male shopper by showcasing select items in a range of footwear compiled in collaboration with Simon Spiteri – the former Head of Menswear at the luxury London department store, Liberty. Presenting a staple diet of men’s footwear, the store will offer styles from the classic Northampton lace-up, to the casually chic deck shoe. A selection of leather wallets and bags will also be on sale from the likes of Il Bussetto and Sean Marshall. Oliver Spencer Shoe Shop, 62 Lamb’s Conduit Street, London Escape the algorithm!
