The Cult VIP in the next issue of Dazed & Confused is the Albionic beat poet and provocateur Michael Horovitz, and tonight you will have a rare chance to see him perform at London's Purcell Rooms in celebration of 50 years of the publishing enterprise New Departures. Expect a night of music and poetry from the likes of John Agard, Patience Agabi, Annie Nightingale and Elvis McGonnall. Also launching on the night is the anthology Great-Grandchildren of Albion: Voices & Visions of the Latest Generation of Alternative Poets in Britain.
