After welcoming "Guest Creatures" Dita Von Teese, Arielle Dombasle and Pamela Anderson onto its legendary stage, the avant-garde Parisian cabaret Crazy Horse now announces its first "Guest Creator" in history: no less than the Frenchman Christian Louboutin, mythic originator of the iconic red-soled heel that has spiked many femme fatale fantasies.
Having always been inspired by cabaret dancers, Louboutin has also drawn influences from hip hop to art masterpieces and everything in between to direct four tableaux celebrating his personal look at femininity. Assisted by Patricia Folly, choreographer and dancer at Le Crazy, and a star list of collaborators including David Lynch and Swizz Beatz, who composed the original music, video designer Gilles Papain and artist Youssef Nabil, the spectacular production 'FEU' (fire) will preview on the 4th of March and parade its epically long legs in the Crazy Horse repertoire until May 31st 2012.
