Inspired by a life in the outdoors and the quest for grand, demanding adventures, Bally goes technical for A/W12, proving winter is the brand's strongest season: durable finishes, water-repellent waxed suede and calf leather dominate the Goodyear-welted shoe collection (ranging from the signature Scribe to dress office shoes, moccasins and the re-engineered curling boot), waterproof zips and fold-over magnets keep robust bags closed shut and protected from the elements, while outerwear is constructed through an innovative use of fabrics, where a muted pattern of gold and silver leaf and special weather-beaten effects complete the look of Bally's pioneering Swiss alps explorer.
