On the site of the former Home bar in east London (back in 98 their cold soba noodles were too good) the creative team behind the Queen of Hoxton have launched an all-encompassing creative venture that brings together all the great things in life. Food, drink, free wi-fi and friends. Ahhhhh... Add to that trinity of comfort, leotard dance classes by Jonny Woo, the scientific Super-Collider crew and an intriguing programme of workshops, talks and screenings led by Matthew Stone and you have a winning formula that’s open until midnight Monday to Wednesday and until 2am Thursday to Saturday. “I wanted to keep a balance between thinkers and do-er's. So we have practical making sessions as well as idea-driven discussions,” says Stone. “The programme covers things like death drawing with artist Boo Saville and philosophy for everyone.” The Book Club previews a collection of events and officially launches on Thursday October 8.
