The Japanese artist Megumi Igarashi, was arrested when she sent 3D printed data of her vulva to 30 fans who contributed to her crowdsourcing project to fund a kayak modelled on her vagina. Naturally, she is outraged and vowing to fight the obscenity charges.

Manuel Noriega, the ex-CIA informant and military dictator of Panama took exception to a character in Call Of Duty: Black Ops II that clearly references the drug-smuggling, critic-killing ruler. He filed a lawsuit against publishers Activision for the "blatant misuse, unlawful exploitation and misappropriation for economic gain" of his image.
