Taking its cues from Club Med brochures, bikini commercials and music-video vixens, Permanent Vacation presents a demonic vision of beach-bound leisure where the sun always shines and the tide is blood-red. New York-based artist Chris Dorland originally created this warped fantasy for his show of the same name at the Winkleman Gallery last year.
