Uniqlo’s latest project The Science of Style is a celebration of the brand’s innovative designs and high quality construction. The project invites creative individuals to submit sculpture ideas and sketches inspired by the brand’s commitment to simple, universal design and their Japanese heritage.

In partnership with Dazed and Confused, Uniqlo will choose and showcase a new and original design every week on Dazed Digital. With one lucky winner getting their creative idea turned into a reality,  the celebrated set designer David White will create an art installation of the chosen design, which will be displayed instore at the Regent Street branch. Our favourite submission from The Science of Style competition this week is entitled “Heat” by Kristina Sacka. Drawing on key elements of Uniqlo’s design and brand principles, the sketch is bold, simple and shares a great message of warmth, light, and love.

To launch the Autumn/Winter collections, two bespoke installations have already been created by David White which promotes advances in Uniqlo’s HEATTECH clothing production, Japanese Denim range, 100% Extra Fine Merino Knitwear and Ultra Light Down collections, you can take a look at the sculptures here.
