Richard Nicoll is shaping himself up to be a designer that doesn't just make a good shirt or two and if last season, he went for extremities that got him attention, this season, he loosened up and relaxed a little to settle his collection down into an easy-breezy set of separates that were marked out by his distinctive colour palette of dusky colours and detailing. Tahitian dressing were the inspiration for the floral prints that were enlarged onto tops and short flippy dresses. A take on grass skirts played out in a memorable motif of fringing that were layers of mimicked arrow-cut ribbon-ends.
