Bare Bones is a newspaper format zine created by 12 artists who suggest you “stick it in your pipe and smoke it”. Under the helm of street artist, Illustrator and rabble-rouser Harry Malt, and a few of the guys and girls from Le Gun, it’s unlike anything else out there.
What is different about Bare Bones?
It's a glimpse into the minds that make it and a return to the DIY days – we wanted to get some pictures and some words together and go make a magazine that's anti-London Lite brainwash.
Do you think the global economic downturn could be good for creativity?
Funding cuts mean people have to be more determined to get new things off the ground. Less money in corporate pockets makes them more discerning
What do you think about politicians spending your taxes on gardening implements?
This is not a new phenomenon – our leaders have been spending money on pEtrol-powered turbo dildos, caviar- flavoured arse beads and child prostitutes for centuries.
