Famed for his paper cut-outs, the London-based artist Rob Ryan creates endearing tales of loves lost & found and poetic statements written out across graphic shoes, trees, and bells. As a graduate of the Royal College of Art, his paper-cutting and screen-printed artwork has since gained him international recognition.
Ryan has illustrated numerous book and album covers, collaborated with many other creatives and opened 'Ryantown', his first gallery and shop in London last year. This month sees the launch of his new Lomography Fisheye camera designed exclusively for Urban Outfitters. The collectible limited-edition camera has a 170 degree view that compacts everything into a distorted circular image, the 'fisheye' effect. Combining Ryan's illustrated birds and flowers on the front with a sugar sweet "Such magic is this to reassure and cheer you on this, your great journey" message on the back.
