For guaranteed sunshine and beautiful beaches, the 2000 capacity venue will be hosting boat parties to an expansive soundtrack from house, rock and roll, flamenco, disco, balearic, techno, south American/African sounds, blues, psychedelia, dubstep and soul, as curated by music lovers Need2soul, The CAMP, Swap-A-Rama, Deviation, Optimo, Sub Club, Sud Electronic, Secretsundaze, Movimientos, Warm, FACT, Don’t Panic, Favela Chic, Allez Allez and Fantasy Island. Dazed speak to live act The Very Best to find out about their new projects and mix for us.

Dazed Digital: What makes The Very Best, the very best?

The Very Best: The lack of competition.

DD: How does this project differ to your last ones?
The Very Best: It's the first album project we fully produced, it's the first African project we got involved with and it's the happiest vibe we've ever been involved with.

DD: How would you describe your sound?
The Very Best: Epic, happy, uplifting.

DD: Any words of advice for those forming new supergroups and the like?
The Very Best: Quality over quantity.

DD: Any dream collaborators?
The Very Best: Elton John, Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Bonnie Tyler, Abba, R Kelly, Akon...

DD: What's next from you guys?
The Very Best: A second mixtape very soon (should drop around september), second album a bit later.
