Last year’s 'Begone Dull Care' further built on their template of lush synthetic soul, adding new textures and sonic flourishes to the mix. Following a well-received run of shows throughout Europe recently, the Boys are currently at work in the studio recording the follow up to 'Begone Dull Care' but found time to create a mix exclusively for Dazed Digital. Featuring disco classics from Sylvester and Levon Vincent alongside their own mix of Yoko Ono’s “Give Me Something”, the mix is akin to a panoramic snapshot of their immaculate and vast record collection. If this proves a taster for what’s to come next, it would seem like we’re in for a treat.TracklistQuadrant - Q1.1 I (Basic Channel)Levon Vincent - Woman is the Devil (Deconstruct Music)Morgan Geist - Detroit-C2 Mix (Environ)Darkstar - Aidy's Girl is a Computer-Kyle Hall Oats B So Good Remix(Hyperdub)Hunee - Standing High (Permanent Vacation)Spawn - Hammernock (Probe)Sylvester - Be With You (Dance Records)San Serac - Music Never Ends - M's Music Mix By Morgan Geist (Environ)Shed - Solitude Straight (Soloaction)Yoko Ono - Give Me Something - Junior Boys MixHand on the Plow - You Gotta Work (Hand on the Plow)Floating Points - Vacuum Boogie (Eglo)First Choice - Let No Man Put Asunder - Ron Hardy Edit (PartehardyRecords)The Martians - Ghostdancer (Red Planet) Escape the algorithm!
