It seems Dazed Digital are not the only ones grieving for the film's extinction as Swedish-born, London-based designers Jojo & Malou spent two nights in London enjoying the last of their Polaroid film with photographer Marcus Palmqvist snapping away on an SX-70. Jojo Ericson and Malou Palmqvist, the partnership behind the label Jojo & Malou, who won Fashion Fringe back in 2005, roped in a few of their friends back in July and put them in their A/W 08 "Lipstick" collection and got them to make like they're posing for the paps. Jojo & Malou's Polaroid posse included the singer/performance artist Ebony Bones, music film director Kinga Burza, Swedish chanteuse Lykke Li and actress Lois Winstone. The resulting Polaroids are now on exhibit at the Little Bar of the restaurant Riche in Stockholm and Jojo & Malou have also put up an accompanying display of their whimsical prints for which they are well known. "Lipstick Polaroids" opened last week during the second Stockholm Fashion Week (they have curiously split the schedule into two June and August parts) and the exhibition is on until the 12th September.
