To celebrate the publishing of "100 New Fashion Designers", the new book by Hywel Davies, SHOWstudio have taken the list that Davies has compiled and have asked a selection of those designers to create films that express something about their design point of view, that could be as explanatory or abstract as they like. The project entitled 'Future Tense' will show films from a selection that includes Pierre Hardy, Rodarte, Peter Jensen and Henrik Vibskov and films will be premiered daily online, from August 18th through to September 18th. In addition to the online fashion film curation, essays and features from new fashion writers, which are themed around issues raised by designers in their videos will also be showcased.
