Doc Martens and the East End go hand in hand, and for the first time in over 40 years DMs have opened their very own pop-up store in one of London’s most popular and eclectic shopping areas, of London, Old Spitalfields Market.

The guerrilla store, inspired by the heritage and attitude of the brand, features an innovative warehouse design, with metal caging for walls and old crates for shop fittings. The ethics and beliefs of which Doc Martens were founded upon have undoubtedly been captured in this once derelict space. Everything about the store is representative of the brands rugged durability, from the soundtrack to the shrink-wrapped furniture, and the space exemplifies why DMs are so essential to a counter-cultural iconography.

The store will stock a capsule collection of the Dr. Martens Originals range together with limited edition collaborations from Raf Simons, Yohji Yamamoto, Stussy and Louise Body.
