There was nothing unexpected about the Vivienne Westwood Red Label show which is no bad thing considering the collection featured all of Westwood's greatest signature hits; a variety of plaid patterns, the tailored jackets that flared out into peplums and the dresses with cowl necks that draped in all the right places. There was also an African influence that infiltrated into hoods and the oversized tribal gold earrings, embroidered headbands and safari hats. A blast of shine was introduced at the end with a gold trench and gunmetal dresses. The front row also has to be mentioned with an almost bizarre menagerie of celebrities that included a member of Girls Aloud, Dita Von Teese, Pamela Anderson and Mischa Barton.
