Describe what you do.
I’m trying to be a human being.

How did you come up with the idea/concept of your video?
It was Ethan's (Kath) idea.

How did you execute your ideas?
Ethan did the video. I mean, I made the movie, “Otto; or, Up with Dead People”, and then Ethan asked me if he could use clips of Otto for a music video for their track Crimewave. I have  collaborated with Ethan before – his previous band contributed four tracks to my movie The Raspberry Reich – so I said “Sure”.

Are you happy with the results?
Yes, very much. It’s refreshingly odd. I also made the movie for kids, so I’m glad it’s on MTV.

What is it about twosee that attracted you to the project?
Well they feature designers I like like Jeremy Scott. They have an avant-garde focus. And they do things like this movies-in-the-window project.

What reaction do you want from people watching your film?
That is cool.

"Future Primitive" by Bruce LaBruce and Crystal Castles.
