Set on three levels, this was the perfect space to showcase some emerging young artists working in a variety of mediums, and the Nixon production team and the artists involved collaborated to transform the venue into a stunning one-night only art and music extravaganza. The philosophy underlying Art Mosh is to showcase contemporary artists in one-off Pop-Up events in major cities. The Paris Art Mosh brought together artists from South Africa, France, Germany, USA, Italy, UK, Belgium and Greece, and exhibited their photography, paintings, designs, illustrations and prints in a truly eclectic exhibition. Supported by Nixon in partnership with Wallpaper* and Nissan, Paddy Barstow of Six 18 curated the show, attracting a cool crowd of artists from the worlds of media, art and fashion, such as Franz Ferdinand, The Cribs, Surface 2 Air, and The Plasticines. The exhibition also showcased items from Nixon’s exclusive LTD Collection alongside featured artists such as Axel Pauporté, Alexander James, Benedict Redgrove, DMV CREW, Herakut, Pomme Chan, Tessar Lo and Yoskay Yamamoto.http://www.artmosh.com/ Escape the algorithm!
